Sladek, Anna (Marriage - 15 November 1969)
Bouquets of mixed colored mums decorated the altar of St. Mary’s Catholic
Church in Neillsville, when Anna Sladek of Marshfield and Roman Piotrowski of
Manitowoc exchanged wedding vows Saturday at 10:30 a.m. The Rev. George Nelson
performed the double-ring ceremony before their immediate families, who came
from Manitowoc, Oconto and Neillsville.
The bride was attired in a beige,
street-length dress with long sleeves, and trimmed with brown fur and wore a hat
to match with Navy accessories and a corsage of orchid ‘mums completing her
ensemble.
Attendants were the bride’s daughter, Mrs. Frederick Grap of
Neillsville, and the groom’s daughter, Mrs. Tony Miller of Manitowoc. Their
dresses and flowers matched that of the bride.
Music was provided by St.
Mary’s children’s choir.
A wedding dinner was held at the Merchants’
Hotel and a reception was held later at Bali Hai.
The wedding cake was
baked and decorated by Mrs. Henry Thoma.
