A little baby girl has made her home with Mr. and Mrs.
Will Vollrath.
Hilda and Bertha Reineking and Alvina Noah came home from
Milwaukee Saturday night.
Even a Shetland Pony in a pinch will do as a
substitute for an automobile. This was the experience of our mail carrier Chas.
Varney.
Albert and Arthur Thielen have returned from Valparaiso, Ind. To
spend a few weeks of their vacation with us this summer.
Mrs. Aug. Beyer
received dispatch Saturday morning of the serious illness of her sister-in-law
at Mayville. She left that same day.
Mrs. Simon Boedeker came back from
Sheboygan County where she had been visiting friends and relatives.
The
school children of the German school had their pictures taken Monday afternoon.
Mr. John Schwarze had a raising bee Friday afternoon. They put up a large
structure for a combination granary and wagon shed. Mr. Sever Ellis is doing the
carpenter work.
