Last Saturday evening at 9 o'clock the solemn
matrimonial rites that joined Henry Wallis and Miss Carrie Anderson as man and
wife were performed by Rev. W.T. Hendren at the home of the bride's grandfather,
T. Anderson, three miles west of this city (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.).
The couple was attended by Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Bredeson, Mrs. H. Olson, sister of
the bride, and Mr. Ed Johnson. The ceremony was witnessed by about thirty
relatives and friends of the happy young couple.
After the ceremony a
bountiful supper was served to the guests by Mrs. Anderson, after which the
bride and groom were wished all happiness and success in life by their friends,
before departing for home.
Mr. and Mrs. Wallis have gone to housekeeping
on Division Street, where they will be found at home. At present Henry is...(the
