Stallard, Elgin G. (? - 22 November 1969)

Elgin G. Stallard, 63, of Edina, Minn., died Saturday. Funeral services were held from Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church, Serley Chapel, on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. Burial was made in Forrest Hills Cemetery at Eau Claire.

Mr. Stallard was born in Humbird, where he attended high school. He was a graduate of Eau Claire State University and was a former instructor at Black River Falls High School.

For 34 years he was regional sales director with E. M. Hale and company and the Doubleday Company. He was a member of the Benjamin Franklin Club and Professional Bookmen of America. He had resided in the Minneapolis area for 26 years and was a member of Mt. Olivet Lutheran Church.

He is survived by his wife, Caroline; a daughter, Mrs. Eddie Birch of Big Rapids, Mich.; a son, Dr. Richard Stallard of Rochester, N. Y. his mother, Mrs. Bertha Hart of Humbird; a brother, Alton V. Stallard of Eau Claire; and five grandchildren.
