A surprise wedding anniversary party for Mr. and Mrs. Roland Bauer was given by their children on Father’s Day. Mr. and Mrs. Bauer were married forty years on the 16th of June.


All six children were present for the anniversary party except Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Bauer, who called them from Monroe.

Brothers and sisters present were Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Johnston, Morton Grove, Illinois; Mr. and Mrs. Anton Hubing, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Adrian Hubing, Neillsville; Mr. and Mrs. Joe Hubing, Loyal; Ray Hubing; Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bauer and Mrs. Francis Helm.

The day was spent visiting and a buffet supper was served.
