Gary F. Ampe, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Ampe of Greenwood,
has been promoted to staff sergeant in the U.S. Air Force at Omaha Air Force
Station, Nebraska
Sergeant Ampe is a radar repairman in a unit that
supports the Air Defense Command mission of defending the continental U.S,
against enemy air attack.
The sergeant who formerly resided at 3849 John
St. Madison, is a graduate of East High School. His wife, Ramona is he daughter
of Roman Koch of Rhinelander.
