Kuester, Roman F. (28 May 1907 - 13 November
1969)
Roman F. Kuester, 62, of Milwaukee and formerly of Neillsville,
died there November 213. Funeral services were held November 17 at 10:30 a.m.
from Mount Lebanon Evangelical Lutheran Church. Burial was made in Wisconsin
Memorial Park.
Mr. Kuester was born May 28, 1907, in Sheboygan County to
Ferdinand and Anna (Bub) Kuester. The family moved to Neillsville when he was a
young boy. He was married to Gertrude M. Wolske, in Milwaukee and resided there
the rest of his life.
Mr. Kuester is survived by his wife; two daughters,
Carol Fuller and Beth Lundsten; a son, Dennis J.; three grandchildren; eight
sisters, Mabel Gutzer, Anne Zabler, Sadie O’Brien, Beulah Landerman, Minnie
Grap, Ella Stucki, Isabel DeMert and Amanda Hemp.
Those attending the
service from this area were: Mr. and Mrs. Oscar DeMert, Mrs. Ella Stucki, Mrs.
Otto Dux, Mrs. Tom Tibbett and Robert DeMert, all of Neillsville and Mr. and
Mrs. John Hemp of Merrillan.
