Mazola, Helen (5 August 1892 - 20 December 1969)
Mrs. Helen Mazola, 77,
of Rt. 2 Neillsville, died December 20 at Memorial Hospital. Funeral services
were held Monday at 10 a.m. from St. Mary’s Catholic Church, with the Rev.
George M. Nelson officiating. A general rosary was held at the Georgas Funeral
home at 8:30 p.m. Sunday evening. Burial was made in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
Helen Dubacka was born August 5, 1892, in Austria-Hungary. She came to the
United States with her parents and located in Chicago, Ill. There, in 1910, she
married Frank Joseph Mazola. They came to Clark County in 1921, and lived and
farmed in the Town of Levis, where she continued to live after his death in
1957.
She is survived by three sons, Frank, John and Joe Mazola, all of
Neillsville; 10 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Mazola was
a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and an honorary member of the Parish
Council of Catholic Women.
Pallbearers were: Ed Struensee, Charles
Havlicek, Sr., Leon Schultz, D. C. Champoux, Bernard Kulling and John Kaczor.
Those from out of town attending included: Mr. and Mrs. John Mazola, Jr.,
and Albert Mazola of Milwaukee and Mrs. Belle Mazola and Edward L. Mazola of
Roselle, Ill.
