Hribar, Mary Marcella (21 January 1937 - 22 June 2013)
Mary M. Hribar, 76, of Willard died Saturday, June 22, 2013, at the Clark
County Health Care Center in Owen.
Mary Marcella Damgaard was born Jan.
21, 1937, near Chicago, IL, the daughter of John and Gertrude (Clausen)
Damgaard. When she was a young girl, her family moved to a farm near Globe,
where she completed her elementary education and graduate from Greenwood High
School. After high school, Mary worked at Clark Electric until she was united in
marriage to William R. Hribar in August of 1958, at the Little Brown Church in
the Vale in Nashua, IA. After their marriage, they resided in Willard and Mary
continued to work at Clark Electric and a local bank for a couple of years,
before becoming a full-time homemaker and mother.
She had many interests,
but especially loved spending time with her granddaughters, baking and sewing.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, William, of Willard; one son,
Richard, of Willard; two granddaughters, Trista Hribar and Charity Hribar; one
sister, Doris Schultz, of Comanche, IA; nieces, nephews, other relatives and
friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Paul
and John Damgaard.
There will be no services held. Burial will take place
at holy Family Catholic Cemetery in Willard at a later date.
