Arthur Himes finished logging for O.F. Harvey last Monday.
Will
Thwing sawed wood for Ezra Scovel, Anton Guskey, Geo. Bovee and Mr. Gelhaar last
week.
Clifford Breneman killed hogs last week.
August Stabnow
pressed hay and shredded corn last Friday and Saturday.
A special school
meeting was held in the Latart District for the purpose of voting on the
question of holding Sunday school in the schoolhouse. The vote was 11 in favor
and 13 against.
Mert Himes was out hunting last Wednesday. He didn't get
anything.
David Thwing went north toward Bright last Sunday and didn't
return home until Monday morning about 4 o'clock, something seems to interest
him up that way.
Ole Mortenson and David Thwing visited Ezra Scovel last
Sunday.
Ralph Thwing and Roy Stabnow visited with Wallace Himes last
Thursday.
Luella Stabnow has been on the sick list for some time, but is
improving lately.
Robert Acker is underbrushing on his land. He intends
to cut cord wood on this land this winter.
Mark Smith was hauling up some
poles last week for his winter's wood.
