Gleaner (Greenwood, Clark Co., Wis.) 12 Dec 1912
Della LeGault and
Josephine Legat spent Saturday and Sunday at the LeGault home in Longwood.
Tuesday morning the train was loaded with passengers for Willard. Mrs.
Almeda Taylor and niece, Elizabeth Claire, arrived for an extended visit at the
Clair home. Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Dameier are visiting their son Wm., and Mrs.
Samuel Studebaker is at the Hintz home for a two week stay. All came from Lena,
Ill.
Heth Smith, Frank Lesar and Ignac Arko went to Mentor Saturday after
a Xmas tree.
The school children are busy practicing for the Xmas
program. A tree and program will be given at the schoolhouse on the Friday night
before Xmas.
Earl Ferguson and Mr. Jansen of Fairchild are cutting wood
for Geo. Hintz.
A couple of dogs carried away a large quantity of meat
belonging to Aaron Altenbern the other night. Guess Aaron will have to live on
bread and milk this winter.
Chairman Hintz laid out several roads last
week.
