Lilly Gibson, who has been staying with A.M. White's
for two or three years, left Monday for her mother's home in New Hampshire.
An oyster supper will be held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mead,
Longwood, Saturday evening, for the benefit of Rev. Paul Hull.
Mr. and
Mrs. Wm. Wessenberg were at Neillsville the first of the week, having been
called thither by the death of a relative.
Mr. and Mrs. J.S. Sloniker
began the new year with the music of a little boy who came to them Friday, Dec.
31.
Among those who are anticipating a trip to Alaska this spring, as far
as we have learned, are L.R. Warner, Frank Pratt, A. Dingley, B.L. Bailey and
Dave Shanks. Part of them will join the Neillsville party the 15th of this month
and the rest will go later.
Mr. Geo. Allds of Camp Douglas, a brother of
Mrs. Geo. Bishop, arrived in town the last of the week and will remain here
during the winter.
Dan Kennedy drove through town yesterday looking after
ten Coleman logging interests.
