H.M. Root and wife of Neillsville were
Greenwood visitors Sunday.
The bridge on the 26 road in the town of Eaton
is completed at last. The road at that place has been nearly impassable since
the freshet last June.
Sleighing parties are in order now, and so
economical are some of them that they take their lunch with them in the shape of
turnovers and I scream.
Bert L. Bailey, who has been at work on the
World's Fair buildings in Chicago since last fall, has been appointed a guard.
His Greenwood friends will be pleased to hear of his promotion.
Loyal is
agitating the question of incorporating as a village.
