No items have appeared for several weeks on account of the illness of the correspondent. We shall try to be more regular hereafter.

Mrs. Anna Ellzroth of Aurora, Ill. came Monday for a two week visit with her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Edward Hanke.

S.L. Miller of Lanark, Ill. was here for several days looking over some land he owns in this vicinity.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Dameier and family, who have lived here the past five years, left for their old home near Lena, Ill. a week ago Wednesday. The young people will certainly miss them, as many pleasant gatherings have been held at their home. Guess we'll all "tag" them.
