A number of persons in this vicinity either are or have been sick during the
past week. Among them are Mr. Justin, Mr. and Mrs. Hintz, Alma Clair and Heth
Smith.
Orville Altenbern was kicked quite badly while helping to unhitch
last Monday. No bones were broken, however, and he is much improved at this
writing.
Mrs. Lizzie Studebaker of Kent, Ill. arrived Thursday to assist
in the care of her daughter, Mrs. Geo. Hintz.
Mrs. Alma Ellzroth, who has
been visiting here, returned to her home in Aurora, Ill. Saturday.
Mose
and Kenneth Smith from Iowa, have moved into the "Christmas" shanties at Gorman.
Heth Smith was a guest at a sleigh ride party at Tioga on Friday night.
