Pieper, Alma A. (18 January 1910 - 19 January 1970)

Alma A. Pieper, 60, of Rt. 1 Loyal, died at her home Monday of a sudden illness. Funeral services will be held today (Thursday) from the Trinity Lutheran Church in Loyal with the Rev. William Humlie officiating. Burial will be made in the Lutheran Cemetery. The body was to lie in state at the Roycraft Funeral Home at noon Wednesday.

Alma Otto was born January 18, 1910, in Milwaukee. As a young child she moved with her parents to a farm in the Loyal area and received her education in the rural schools in the Town of Beaver. She was married January 10, 1928, to Arnold Pieper in the Town of Beaver, where they farmed.

She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church and of the Women of the church.

She is survived by her husband; five daughters, Mrs. Arthur (Beverly) Olsen, Mrs. James (Dolores) Helm, Mrs. David (Karen) Fricke and Mrs. Larry (Joyce) Rueth, all of Loyal, and Mrs. James (Marlene) Lavenstein of Milwaukee; a son, Delmar Pieper of Spencer; 19 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; two sisters, Mrs. Orvin (LaVerna) Litka of Milwaukee and Mrs. Allan (Mavis) Luber of Loyal; and a brother, Paul Otto of Milwaukee.
