Schmidt, Daniel Louis (24 November 1969 - 20 January 1970)
Daniel Louis Schmidt, eight-week old son of Walter L. and Ellen (Shambaugh)
Schmidt of Rt. 2, Neillsville, died at his home Tuesday morning. Funeral
services were held at the Georgas Funeral Home at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday with the
Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiating. Burial was made in the Neillsville City
Cemetery.
Daniel was born November 24, 1969 at Memorial Hospital in
Neillsville.
Survivors include his parents, two sisters, Angela, 7, and
Brenda, 6; two brothers, Patrick, 4, and Michael, 2; and his grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Emil Schmidt of Rt. 2 Neillsville and Mrs. Catherine Shambaugh of
Neillsville.
The parents found the baby in his crib about 6 o’clock
Tuesday morning, but it is thought his death occurred an hour or so earlier and
that it was due to a quick pneumonia. He had not been ill.
