William L. Parker, 80 of Marshfield, died Friday, Jan.
29, at St Joseph’s hospital, Marshfield.
Private funeral services were
held Sunday afternoon at 4 o’clock at the Hansen Chapel with the Rev. Douglas P.
Oyan, pastor of the First Presbyterian church officiating.
Interment was made in the Hillside cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. Parker made their
home in Abbotsford for a number of years while Mr. Parker was employed at Wing’s
Drug Store as a pharmacist.
They later lived at Marshfield.
Mrs. Parker preceded her husband in death Dec. 7, 1960.
Survivors include a son, William W. Parker, Wisconsin
Rapids; four daughters, Mrs. Carol Snelling of Marshfield, Miss Winifred Parker,
Perth Amboy, N. J., Mrs. James (June) Wright, Wauwatosa, and Mrs. E. O.
(Lucille) Cormier, St Petersburg, Fla.; two brothers, A. A. Parker, Beaver Dam,
and T. J. Parker, Fort Myers, Fla., a sister, Mrs. D. C. McLaughlin of Beaver
Dam; 16 grand children and six great grand children.
