Zickert, Clara (3 Nov 1915)
Yesterday afternoon at 2:30
o’clock William Dierchs and Miss Clare Zickert were united in marriage by Rev.
Brandt. They were attended by Frank Zickert and Miss Elsie Schlinkert. At the
conclusion of the ceremony a celebration of the event was held at the home of
the bride’s parents. The bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F.J. Zickert of
town Weston and is a young lady of exceptionally pleasing personality and
winsome manners. The groom is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed. Dierchs of town York. He
is a young man who is capable and energetic and has already given promise of
great success in his chosen vocation of farming. The young people expect to go
to housekeeping soon on the Jack Zickert farm and start out in life with the
best wishes of a large circle of very sincere friends.
