Campbell, Sadie (16 Nov 1915)
On Tuesday evening at
about nine o’clock at the home of Mr. and Mrs. C.W. Hill in George, the marriage
of Mr. Wm. F. Emens and Miss Sadie Campbell was solemnized by Rev. A.E. Boell of
Ebenezer Presbyterian Church. This marriage came as the culmination of a pretty
little romance which started a few months ago when Miss Campbell came to George
from her home in Wisconsin to accept the position as milliner in the Martin
Bros. Co. Store. The groom is a popular young man of George, well liked by those
who know him and possessing those traits of character which count for success.
The bride is an accomplished young woman and has made herself well-liked by
those with whom she has come in contact. They will continue to make George their
home. The News joins in congratulations and good wishes.
The above, taken
from a George, Iowa, paper, refers to Miss Sadie Campbell, a daughter of Mr. and
Mrs. Ezra Campbell of this city. Mrs. Emens was one of Neillsville’s brightest
and most estimable young ladies, a graduate of the high school here and held in
the very highest esteem by all. The Times extends its most cordial
congratulations to the young people.
