Columbia (12 February 1970)
Eighteen persons using
seven snowmobiles enjoyed gliding over the snowy fields of the Schulz farm
Sunday afternoon. Participating in the fun were Mr. and Mrs. Fred Vornholt and
family, Mr. and Mrs. Don Kalsow and children, Mr. and Mrs. William Hrasky,
Franklin Hrasky and Mrs. Mike Hamblin, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Vornholt all of
Neillsville, and William and Georgeana Schulz. A potluck supper was served at
the Schulz home later that afternoon.
George Mashin and William
Sollberger drove to Owen last week Tuesday afternoon.
Mr. and Mrs. Wilson
Bohnhoff visited Mr. and Mrs. Clifford Winter in Pine Valley Sunday evening.
Mr. and Mrs. George Mashin and Tarra visited Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Fox and
family in Pine Valley Saturday evening.
William and Georgeana Schulz
visited Mr. and Mrs. Ed Niendorf Saturday afternoon. The Niendorfs are feeding
‘a yard full of birds.’ Included are many chickadees, several cardinals, and
grosbeaks and, of course, blue jays. And some blue jays are ‘swiping’ food from
the cat’s dish place on the porch at the Ward Lockman home.
