O.C Behrens, after a six month siege in camp at Bayfield, came down the first of the week to find out what was going on out in the world.

Elias Peterson, C.H. Cummings and F.M. Carter visited Madison this week.

The subject of the sermon at the M.E. Church Sunday evening will be, "The blessing of the saloon; or some reasons why we should have saloons in Greenwood."

The log drive is now being rushed.
