Mr. Gearke of Neillsville was here one day last week.
Mrs. Maruncic,
who has been very ill the past two or three weeks, remains about the same. Dr.
Boeckmann has called several times.
A party of four young people from
here were out sightseeing Sunday. They visited Greenwood, Longwood and Withee.
Considerable interest was shown in the first ballgame of the season in
Willard. The Smith Sandscratchers played a close game with Legat Mudhens. The
score was 1 to 0 in favor of the Sandscratchers.
Allen and Alma Clair are
on the sick list at present.
Mr. and Mrs. Morris Anderson were trout
fishing in this vicinity on Monday, returning to their home in Greenwood the
next morning. Mrs. Anderson called at the schoolhouse a short time Monday.
The eighth grade is deep in diploma examinations.
Mrs. Brill made a
short visit at his farm here to see how things are progressing.
If you
want to know why Uncle Dave Holsinger looks happy, just ask him when he expects
