Robert Henry Graham was born in the town of Platteville in Grant
County on Sept. 18, 1838, where he grew to manhood. On Jan. 1, 1866 he was
united in marriage to Miss Jane Lee, also of Platteville. To them was born one
son, John A. of the town of Fremont.
Mrs. B. Schicker, who has been
living with her sister, Mrs. Mike Seidelman at Hein for about a year, died on
last Saturday morning at two o'clock of a complication of diseases, at the age
of seventy-seven years and five months.
John Macksman killed a pine snake
on Friday of last week that measured five feet and two inches near Collie Creek
on the Twenty-six road.
George Harrington was arrest last Friday night by
Marshall Clementson and place in the lockup. He made several threats to do some
shooting and on Saturday was taken to Neillsville by the deputy sheriff to have
a hearing.
