During the storm
Wednesday night, May 28, W.J. Armitage had a two-year-old colt killed by
lightning, also another two-year-old colt badly injured. Mr. Armitage will
receive $125 from the Lynn Insurance Co.
Mrs. Lewis Brown has been
receiving a visit from a brother in Minneapolis.
Adam Heible and family
have moved to Globe to make cheese in a new factory.
Irvie Youngs and
Mrs. Charles Broker visited Mr. and Mrs. Otto Grosnick last Sunday.
Charles Peck and family visited at Willis Armitage's Sunday. Bruce Armitage and
wife of Neillsville of Neillsville, towards evening, they were all treated to
ice cream.
Dr. Sillick was called to the Armitage home on Thursday to
attended to the injured colt.
