Miss Audrey Kay Olsen of 2532 W.
Concordia Ave., Milwaukee and Dennis Richard Olson of 6600 North 77th
St., Milwaukee exchanged wedding vows at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal, July10
at 1 o’clock with the Rev. Floyd Olsen of Sioux Rapids, Iowa, uncle of the bride
officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and
Mrs. Arthur Olsen and Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Olson both of route 1, Loyal.
Vern Dahlby sang “The Lord’s
Prayer’ and “Wedding Prayer” and Mrs. Kenneth Voss was at the organ.
Two bouquets of mint green carnations and red roses decorated the church
as the bride was given in marriage by her father.
She wore a gown of embossed white peau de soie satin styled by a bell
shaped skirt and a lace jacket, with the train of the dress being attached with
a large bow at the waistline. Her
floral headpiece with pearls held an elbow length veil and her flowers were a
large red rose surrounded by white and red rosebuds in heart shape.
Miss Karen Pieper of Loyal was
the maid of honor and Mrs. Ronald Rueth and Miss Sue Olsen of Loyal; and Mrs.
Larry Noeldner of Marshfield were the bridesmaids.
The aides wore floor length dresses of mint green embossed of peau de
soie satin and matching pillbox hats with shoulder length veils and carried a
long stemmed red rose.
Pamela Olson, Milwaukee and Mark
Rueth, Loyal were the flower girl and ring bearer.
The groom chose Donald Olson as
his best man and the groomsmen being James Olsen and William Pagelsdorf also of
Loyal; and Larry Noeldner, Marshfield.
Performing the usher duties were
Larry Rueth and Ray Feldt. Guests
came from Chicago, Illinois; Sioux Rapids, Iowa; Milwaukee, Sun Prairie,
Delafield, Koehler, Owen, Neosha, Greenwood, Colby and Loyal.
The couple are both 1963
graduates of Loyal High School. She
was a secretary for two years at the Marshfield Senior High School and is now
employed at an insurance firm in Milwaukee, where her husband is with the
Fleming Material Co. He also
attended Wisconsin State University-River Falls.
After a wedding trip to the
states of Kentucky, Tennessee, the Carolinas and Virginia, the couple will live
at 6600 N. 77th St. in Milwaukee.
