Lutheran Church, Loyal was the scene of the wedding of Miss Donna Marie Bush,
Loyal and Orin C. Toltzman, Spencer.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Fred I. Cox, Loyal and Mrs. Leona
Toltzman, Spencer and the late Mr. William Toltzman.
The 1:30 p.m. ceremony was
performed by the Rev. A.M. Moldenhauer.
Bouquets of white mums and gladiola decorated the church altar.
Rev. A.M. Moldenhauer sang “The Lord’s Prayer” and Miss Mary Krueger “The
Wedding Song”.
The bride was presented in
marriage by Mr. Fred I. Cox. Her
sheath floor length gown of silk faced peau generously dappled with alencon
lace. Motifs and pearl embroidery
arched the boat neckline and the box pleated detachable chapel train was topped
with a flying pane. Her veil was
attached to a crown of pearl and crystal.
She carried a modified cascade arrangement of white roses and camellia
leaf foliage.
Mrs. Walter Luepke, Adams was the
matron of honor and the bridal aides were Mrs. Lawrence Below, Spencer and Mrs.
Elmer Karau, Merrill.
The wore romance blue taffeta
peau floor length sheaths featuring fitted bodices having scoop necklines with
front bow trim and flying panels at the back.
They each carried a modified cascade arrangement of white daisies and
English ivy.
The groom chose Walter Luepke,
Adams for his best man; Larry A. Bush, Eugene, Oregon; and Elmer Karau, Merrill,
the groomsmen; and Lawrence Below and Theodore Schlinsog, the ushers.
A wedding reception was held that
afternoon at Neuman’s from 3 to 5:30 p.m., followed by a dinner at the Trinity
Fellowship Hall at Trinity Lutheran Church.
The bride who is employed at the
Marshfield Clinic, Marshfield is a 1962 graduate of Williamette High School in
Eugene, Oregon, and her husband a 1957 graduate of Spencer High School, works
for the Dairy Belt Division of Land o’ Lakes.
After a wedding trip to Canada
the couple will be making their home at 704 South Palmetto, Marshfield.
Out of town guests attending the
wedding from a distance were Mr. and Mrs. H.R. Bires, Eugene, Oregon; Mrs.
Clayton Bassett, Fort Wayne, Indiana; Mr. and Mrs. Carl Olstinski, Racine; and
Mr. and Mrs. Jerry Below, Willmar, Minnesota.
