Mrs. B. Doell and two children left Friday for a three week visit in Milwaukee.
The Ladies Aid met with Mrs. Freeman last Thursday.
Melvin Erickson
took in the show and dance at Withee Saturday night.
Mrs. Harry Meade of
Wheeler, Wis., has been visiting relatives and friends here the past week.
Dorothy, Gladys and Richard Davidson of the Poppe Settlement are visiting
their grandmother, Mrs. F. Leeman during the mother's absence.

Sillick, Ray Howard and Lamar Thrapp were business callers here last Friday.
Otto Behrens of Greenwood and Mr. Wenzel of Neillsville transacted business
in Longwood and vicinity last week.
Our town board let the contract for
repairing the Black River bridge last Friday. For bids were received. R.L.
Sanders was successful bidder, his bid being 1595.
F.P. Mink has had
lightning rods put on his house. John Howard of Neillsville is doing the work.
In the baseball game between the Longwood team and the married men, the
score stook 34 to 8 in favor of the former.
Carl Sorenson was a business
visitor in Greenwood on Monday.
