Knop, Peter (? - 16 JUN 1913)
The
death of Peter Knop occurred at his home in this city (Greenwood, Clark Co.,
Wis.) on Monday morning, June 16th, 1913. It was not unexpected by his
relatives, as he had been in very poor health for the past year, gradually
becoming weaker until his last remaining days were spent in his bed.
Mr.
Knop and family came to Greenwood about five years ago. He conducted a shoe
making and general repair shop since. He was ever industrious and worked with a
vim until his disease , carcinosis of the stomach prevented him from attending
to hsi daily occupation, and called him to the other world. His remains were
taken to Marinette Tuesday for interment.
Deceased leaves to mourn his
loss, a faithful wife, two sons, Joseph of Kiel, and Peter of Marinette, three
daughters, Mrs. Edward Sontag of Detroit, Mich., and Anna and Margaret of
Milwaukee.
