The Luethe Co. of Neillsville has put on lightning rods for the following:
Charles Thorson, Carl Erickman, Charlie Anderson, Ed Awe, Mr. Veerink, Mr.
Kivikko and Mr. Phillips.
R. Horswill had the misfortune to have the bone
in his left arm cracked by being kicked by a horse.
Little Mary Meade of
Thorp, who has been visiting relatives here for the past two weeks, returned to
her home Friday.
The M.E. Ladies' Aid had an ice cream social at the hall
Thursday evening. There was not a very large crowd on account of the rain. All
the ice cream was not disposed of that evening and so the remainder was sold the
next afternoon.
Word was received Sunday afternoon of the death of Elmer
Sorenson at the hospital in Eau Claire. It was thought that he was getting
better, but on Sunday his parents received word that he was very low and they
should come at once. His mother and sister arrived just a few minutes before he
died.
Mrs. John Sanders visited with Mrs. Ed Smith, Sr., at Withee on
Saturday.
Mrs. Percy Clifton and children, and Mrs. H. Ganger of Owen
were visitors at the Mink home on Thursday.
