Domine, Eleanora (4
July 1889 - 28 February 1970)
Funeral services for Eleanora Domine, 80,
of Loyal, who died February 28, were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday from St.
Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal. The Rev. Norbert E. King officiated and
burial was made in the parish cemetery.
Mrs. Domine, the former Eleanora
Schuld, was born July 4, 1889, in Pelsdorf. She received her education in rural
Loyal Schools and lived with her parents on their farm until her marriage
November 22, 1904, in Loyal, to Edward Domine. They farmed in the Pelsdorf area
until 1942, when they retired and moved to Loyal. Mr. Domine died in November,
1962. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Church and St. Mary’s Altar Society.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Verna Schupe of Loyal, Mrs. Ben
(Helen) Schwellenbach of Christie and Mrs. Tony (Evelyn) Shober of Loyal; four
sons, Manuel, Lawrence and Edward of Loyal, and Franklin Domine of Wisconsin
Rapids; two sisters, Mrs. George Frei of Neillsville and Mrs. Carl Becker of
Ontario, Canada; a brother, Leander Schuld of Neillsville; 26 grandchildren; 44
great-grandchildren and three great-great- grandchildren.
Arrangements
were made by the Roycraft Funeral Home of Loyal.
