Mrs. Lee (Hermina) Mathews, 38, of Merrillan, passed away early Tuesday morning, October 13, 1964, at the Black River Community Hospital where she had been a patient about a week with a heart attack.

She was born in the Town of Levis, Clark County, Wis. April 26, 1926. She and her husband had been residents of Merrillan the past seven years.

In addition to being survived by her husband, she is also survived by her mother, Mrs. Hattie Meier, of Neillsville, and one brother, Robert, of Britt, Iowa.

The funeral for her will be a 2 p.m. Thursday from the Merrillan Methodist Church, with the Rev. Burton Artz officiating. Interment will be made in the Levis Cemetery in Clark County. Friends may call at the Langlois-Galston Funeral Home in Black River Falls, Wednesday afternoon and evening.
