Miss Betty Jean Loos, Loyal and
Mr. Raymond Rondorf, Greenwood exchanged wedding vows at St. Anthony’s Catholic
Church, Loyal, September 4 at a 12 o’clock noon service.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Loos, Loyal and Mr. and
Mrs. Alfred Rondorf, Greenwood.
The Rev. Norbert E. King
officiated at the wedding mass and the church choir provided the music.
Miss Betty Miller, Loyal was
asked to be the maid of honor and Mrs. George Barten, Wisconsin Rapids and Miss
Ellen Haslow, Madison, the bridesmaids.
They each wore a rose colored floor length sheath gown and carried pink
and white carnations. Small bands
with veils formed the headpieces.
Miss Alora Schwinn, Loyal was the
miniature bride and Mike Loos also of Loyal was the ring bearer.
The bride chose a wedding gown of
silk organza over taffeta with re-embroidered Alencon lace trim on the bateau
neckline. The princess styled skirt
featured an empire waistline with lace appliqués down the front and the back
sweeping into a full chapel train.
Her bouffant veil was secured to a double crown of pearls; she carried red and
white roses centered with a white orchid.
Tom Loos, Loyal served as best
man and the groomsmen were George Barten, Wisconsin Rapids and Robert Rondorf,
Greenwood.
A Reception was held at K Corners
and a dinner at the church dining hall.
A dance was held at the Silver Dome in the evening.
The bride is a 1964 graduate of
Loyal High School and her husband a 1959 graduate of Greenwood High School and
he is employed at Svetlik Ford, Neillsville.
After a wedding trip to the Black Hills the couple will be making their
home in Loyal.

The bride was honored with three
pre-nuptial showers. Mrs. Kenneth
Verhalen and Mrs. George Barten were hostesses at one shower and Miss Ellen
Haslow, Madison gave a miscellaneous shower also.
A third shower was given by friends and relatives; they were Mrs. Elmer
Schwinn, Mrs. Robert Young, Miss Betty Miller, Mrs. Alex Loos, Mrs. Dan Ellison
and Mrs. John Linster being the hostesses.
