Wedding vows were exchanged by Miss Suzanne Carol Braun, Greenwood and Dennis Lee Fravert, Loyal at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Greenwood on Saturday, October 2 at a 3 p.m. double ring ceremony.  The Rev. Arvid Myhrwold performed the ceremony.  Mrs. Don Warner played the organ and Kathy Hancock sang “O Perfect Love” and Rev. Myhrwold sang “The Lord’s Prayer.”

Parents of the couple are Mr. and Mrs. Harry Braun, route 2, Greenwood and Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Fravert, Loyal.

The bride given in marriage by her father wore a dress of imported Chantilly lace over taffeta; five tiers of lace accented the floor length gown trimmed with sequins.  The sleeves were long tapered at the wrist.  The neckline was square scalloped, trimmed with sequins.  She wore a bouffant pouf of imported illusion attached to a crown of pearls and sequins.  Pink and white roses on a Bible with lilies of the valley on long white streamers were carried by the bride.

Janice Braun, sister of the bride, Greenwood was the maid of honor; and Karen Fravert, sister of the groom, Loyal; Mrs. Dannie Kind of Marshfield; and Nancy Haslow of Loyal the bridesmaids.  They wore fuchsia floor length empire sheaths with lace trimmed three quarter length sleeves, from the back of the necklines were wautau panels of sheer crepe.  Their headpieces were cabochon rose, trimmed with lily of the valley and a bird cage veil.  Each carried a one stem white rose.

Shelby Bauer was the flower girl and David Braun, brother of the bride the ring bearer.

The groom chose John Bloomfield of Greenwood for his best man and the groomsmen were Gary Kind, Greenwood, cousin of the bride and Dannie Kind, Marshfield, cousin of the bride and David Hills of Loyal.

Ushering the guests coming from Fond du Lac, Menasha, Rockford, Illinois; Marshfield, Owen, Spencer, Loyal, Milwaukee, Greenwood, Athens, unity and Colby were Dale Bauer and Dale Fravert.

A reception was held from 4 to 5 at the Legion Hall in Greenwood and a supper was at the church parlors at 5:30. A dance was held that evening at the American Legion Hall in Neillsville.

The new Mrs. Fravert is a 1965 graduate of Greenwood high School and her husband a 1964 graduate of Loyal High School.  After a wedding trip to Glasgow, Montana the couple will reside at Loyal where they are both employed.  She is employed at the Star Lodge Coffee Shop and Motel and he at Loyal Foods Store.
