Miss Betty Jane Miller and Mr.
Thomas G. Loos exchanged wedding vows at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, Loyal,
Saturday, October 9 at a 1 p.m. service with Father King officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mr. and
Mrs. Clarence Miller and Mr. and Mrs. Gilbert Loos, both of route 1, Loyal.
The bride chose for her wedding a
floor length gown of acetate peau with pearl embroidery and lace appliqués
accenting the bodice and was repeated down the front.
The skirt was of “A” design and a full detachable train was fastened at
the center front. She wore an open
crown pillbox hat with a bouffant veil and pearl trim.
Miss Mardell Miller, Loyal was
the maid of honor and Mrs. Ray (Betty) Rondorf the bridesmaid.
They wore medium blue crepe floor length gowns with a royal blue velvet
train and an accented empire waistline, the back was completed with royal blue
velvet Watteau panels. They carried
whit arrangement of gardenias.
The groom chose Robert Loos for
his best man and Ray Rondorf for his groomsman.
Performing the ushering duties were Larry Benedict and Jerry Loos.
A Wedding reception was held at
Braun’s Bar and Bowl and a supper at the Star Lodge Coffee Shop.
A dance followed the evening at the Silver Dome.
The couple both graduated from
the Loyal High School with the class of 1961.
The bride graduated from the Northwest Institute Medical Tech.,
Minneapolis, Minnesota and is employed at Neillsville.
The groom served three years in the Army and is employed at Marshfield.
