Bakken, Bonneta Lynn (13 NOV 1965)

Miss Bonneta Lynn Bakken, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Bakken, Loyal was united in marriage to Mr. Richard Lindner, son of Mr. and Mrs. Casper Lindner, Greenwood.

The Rev. Edward Hartung, pastor of St. Mary’s Catholic Church, Greenwood performed the ceremony which took place on Saturday, November 13 at 11:30 a.m.  Yellow chrysanthemums decorated the church.

For her wedding the bride chose a white satin pearl embroidered sheath dress with train, her fingertip veil secured to a bridal headpiece.  She carried red roses with ivy.

Mrs. LaVerne Lindner, Greenwood served as the matron of honor and mrs. William Lindner Greenwood and Miss Carolyn Bakken, Minneapolis as the bridesmaids.

They wore gold brocaded empire floor length gowns and pillbox headpieces and each carried a single long stemmed bronze chrysanthemum.

LaVerne Linder was the best man and William Lindner and David Bushman, the groomsmen.  All are of Greenwood.

A wedding reception was held at the Lindner home.

The new Mrs. Lindner is a 1964 graduate of Loyal High School and has been employed at Kaynar Diamond Co., Minneapolis, Minnesota.  The groom is a 1962 graduate of the Greenwood High School and is employed for the Trindal Co., Loyal.

After a wedding trip through the Midwest the couple will reside at Greenwood.
