Hemp, Helen H. (27 NOV 1915)
Last Saturday evening Miss Helen H. Hemp and Albert F. Jahr were united in
marriage at Eau Claire by Rev. Sindell, the ceremony taking place at the home of
the minister. Mr. and Mrs. Jahr left that evening for a wedding trip to Chicago
and other points and will later take up housekeeping at Granton. The groom is a
prosperous young Granton merchant, being engaged in the general store business
there with his brother. He worked in the Big Store in this city for a number of
years and by his unfailing courtesy and willingness made a host of very sincere
friends among those with whom he came in contact. He is an enterprising and
capable young man and his sterling qualities are bound to make him succeed. His
bride is a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Fred Hemp of this city and is a young lady
who occupies a position especially high in the esteem of all who know her. She
is a graduate of the city schools and in every particular a most pleasing and
estimable lady. Mr. and Mrs. Jahr’s friends will be pleased to learn of their
marriage and will extend to them their heartiest wishes for a happy future.
