Funeral services for Leonard W. Newman, 50 of 5535 N. 55th St., Milwaukee, who died Monday evening July 20, following a heart attack were held at Jelacic Funeral Home, Milwaukee at 10 a.m. July 23. Rev. William H. Schlinkmann officiated. Interment at Oak Hill Cemetery, Watertown.

Mr. Newman was born in the town of Loyal, August 17, 1903 to the LateWalter and Olga (Brussow) Newman. He graduated from the Loyal High School in 1920. He also graduated from Miieapolis Business College. In 1928 he purchased a farm in the Town of Beaver, leaving it in 1941 to work in Milwaukee.

Mr. Newman was married to Olive Corey on September 29, 1966. Survivors are his wife, one sister, Mrs. William (Ramona) Ammerman of Plymouth, and one foster sister, Mrs. Arnold (Winnefred) Ertl of Racine.
