Miss Sharon Geiger, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Geiger, Loyal and Dale Irving Vine, son of Mr. and Mrs. Irving Vine, Granton, were united in marriage Saturday, August 1, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church in Loyal.

The bride was attired in a floor length gown of Chantilly lace and organza, with a bodice of lace and a Sabrina neckline highlifgted by aurora borealis and crystal trim. Her bouffant skirt with Chantilly lace flounces, accented with tiers in back, bordered with alenceon lace. Her fingertip veil was attached to a crown of cultured pearls. She carried a cascade bouquet of yellow and white carnations.

The maid of honor, Miss Nancy Froeba, Loyal, a friend of the bride was dressed in a ballerina length gown of romance blue, with a scoop neckline and a front embroidered bodice. She carried a small cascade of blue and white carnations.

The best man was Robert Vine, Granton. Ushers were Marvin Geiger, Loyal and Harold Vine, Granton.

St. Anthony’s Church choir sang, and was accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Edward Trnka.

A dinner was held in St. Anthony’s Hall following the ceremony. A reception followed in the afternoon at the Loyal Amusements hall.

The bride received her education at St. Anthony’s School and Loyal High School and was a 1965 graduate. She is employed by the Marshfield Clinic.

The groom attended High School and graduated in 1964. The groom is a farmer and the couple will live in rural Granton.

Guests at the wedding were from Mosinee, Lake Geneva, Racine, Chili, Marshfield, Spencer, Neillsville, Wausau, Stratford, Abbotsford and Dorchester.
