Wm. Dammeier sawed wood for Will Abel and Albert Miller
the past week.
N.C. Foster has a crew of men clearing up a twenty foot
strip on the new road recently laid out, running south and east from town.
County Surveyor Hewett spent several days here this week running lines for
Mr. Foster.
Deer hunting seems to be the center of attraction at present.
Quite a few are being shot.
Mrs. B.B. Mayville of Indiana, sister of R.R.
Thomas, came Friday morning for a visit at the Thomas home.
Paul Marn has
finished cutting 20 cords of wood for the school board.
H.P. Mead,
representing the Wateman Waterbury Co. of Minneapolis, and W.E. Palms of Tioga,
were business callers her Friday.
