Herman Carl Weideman,
Abbotsford, died at the age of 85 Tuesday evening at St. Joseph’s hospital,
Marshfield, where he had been a patient since Feb. 2.
He had been a resident of the Havenet Nursing
Home in Owen for about one year.
Funeral arrangements are being
handled by the Polnaszek Funeral Home in Abbotsford, but were not yet complete
at the time of publication.
The time and place of the funeral will be
available later in the week.
Herman Weideman was born June
27, 1879, at Sheboygan Falls.
He came to the town of Holton with his parents
and settled on a farm there in 1888.
On March 26, 1902, he married
the former Mary Radke in the town of Holton.
Mrs. Weideman died in 1910.
Mr. Weideman continued farming in the town of
Holton until his retirement when he moved to the village of Abbotsford.
Herman Weideman is survived by one son, Ted Wedeman of
Wausau; one sister, Mrs. Lena Grier of Abbotsford; two grand children, and six
great grand children.
In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by four
brothers and four sisters.
