Word has been received here of the death of Elmer J.
Burris, a former Abbotsford resident who died Sunday at the home of his son,
Arvel Burris, at Oshkosh.
Funeral services were held on Wednesday at Marshfield at
the Hansen Chapel, and burial was made in the Hillside cemetery at Marshfield.
He was born Aug. 13, 1878, at
Champaign, Ill.
He was married to Clara Poor Dec. 22, 1903.
The couple lived in Abbotsford until 1940, when
they moved to Marshfield.
Mrs. Burris died in 1959, and in 1960, he
resided with his son in Oshkosh.
