In a ceremony performed by Rev. Wallace Herman at 7 p.m.
in the First United Church of Christ on Saturday, Feb. 27, Penny Lee Fischer
became the bride of Allen John Schmutzler.
Parents of the young couple are Ray and Betty Fischer and
Mr. and Mrs. Woodrow Schmutzler, all of Riplinger.
Attending the couple were Miss Sally Schmutzler of
Riplinger, sister of the groom, and Syd Bauer, of Colby.
The bride chose a box suit in winter white with beige
accessories, complimenting it with a corsage of read roses with white trim.
Miss Schmutzler wore a box suit in pink with black
accessories, complimented with a corsage of pink sweetheart roses with white
trim.
Supper for the immediate family was served, followed by a
reception for friends and relatives.
The groom is employed at
Spencer Sports.
The young people with make their home at 505 ½
N Second Street, Colby.
