Stafford, Kenneth Albert (6 July 1902 - 29 March1970)
Kenneth Albert Stafford, 67, died Sunday in Marshfield, where he had been a
hospital patient for nine weeks.
Mr. Stafford, son of John H. and Nellie
(Benedict) Stafford, was born July 6, 1902, in Janesville. He came to Greenwood
with his parents at the age of six. He received his education in the Greenwood
Schools. He was married June 5, 1928, to Edith Gray at Winona, Minn. He was
employed by lumber companies and they lived in various (a portion missing here).
Mr. Stafford is survived by his wife; a son, Kenny, of Neenah; three
grandchildren; a brother, Harry Stafford of Neillsville; and a sister, Mrs. Paul
(Lillian) Rossman of Withee.
Funeral services were to be held at 2 p.m.
Wednesday from Grace United Methodist Church in Greenwood, with the Rev. Lee
Holmes of Marshfield officiating. Burial was to be made in the Greenwood
Cemetery.

Funeral services for Kenneth Stafford were held April 1 from
Grace United Methodist Church. The Rev. Lee Holmes of Marshfield officiated.
Burial was made in the Greenwood Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Celen Gotter,
Albert Haslow, Lawrence Cox, Vivian Carteron, Clarence Verhulst and Wilbur
Stewart. Gary Schultz sang, “The Lord is My Shepherd” and “Softly and Tenderly”
accompanied on the organ by Mrs. Gary Schultz.

Roger Gray of Readstown; Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Reineking of Grand Marsh; Harold

of St. Paul Park, Minn.; Mrs. Laverne Johnson and family of Wisconsin Rapids;
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Aspenson of Viroqua; Mr. and Mrs. Alvin Knutson of
Janesville and Mrs. Arvid Myhrwold of Downsville.
