Smith, Ethel (24 May 1909 - 26 March 1970)
Ethel Smith, 60, of Rt. 1
Loyal, died March 26, in Neillsville. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m.
Saturday at the Free Methodist Church in Loyal with the Rev. Paul; Miller
officiating. Burial was made in the city cemetery.
Mrs. Ethel Smith was
born May 24, 1909, in Walworth where she went to school. She moved to Barron
with her parents and attended the Barron High School. She was employed at
housework in Eau Claire and Rockford, Ill., before moving to Loyal, five years
ago. Her marriage to Robert Smith took place August 9, 1969 at the Loyal Free
Methodist Church of which she is a member.
Survivors include her husband,
a sister, Miss Alice Fensome of Winona Lake, Ind., and a brother, Herbert
Fensome of Loyal.
Pallbearers were: Ross Stevens, Edward Ploman, Bernard
Clouse, Glen Bennett, Tony Bezlyk and Everett Kauffman. Harold Schlinsog sang
“Beyond the Sunset” and “Under His Wings”, accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Tony
Bezlyk.
The Roycraft Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
