RULE GREENWOOD MAN’S DEATH A
SUICIDE
The death of a 42 year old Greenwood man has been ruled a suicide
by Clark County authorities.
Donald Robert Ogden’s body was found shortly
after noon Sunday in a car parked in the yard of his home.
County
Coroner, Robert Lulloff said death was due to carbon monoxide poison. A flexible
tube connected to the exhaust pipe had been pulled up through a hole under the
back seat of the car. The car’s gasoline supply had been exhausted when Mrs.
Ogden discovered her husband’s body in the vehicle.
Ogden was born Jan
24, 1922, in Seattle, Wash. His marriage to Audrey Stout took place Feb. 27,
1949, family came to Clark county and in Williamfield, Ill. In 1957, for the
past two years has resided on a farm with her father, Carol Stout, one mile west
of Greenwood. He had been employed in Spencer.
He is survived by his
wife; nine children, all at home; his parents and a sister.
