WITHEE COUPLE OBSERVE WEDDING ANNIVERSARY

A dinner at noon on Saturday, October 3rd given by their children began the festivities for Mr. and Mrs. Carl Andreasen on their Golden Wedding Day. Eighty relatives and friends attended the dinner coming from Minneapolis, Okabena, Minn.; Mankato, Minn.; Wichita Falls, Texas; Waterloo, Iowa; Brookings, South Dakota; Luck, WI, Withee and Owen.

Several short musical numbers were presented by the grandchildren following the dinner. Many of those present gave brief reminiscent talks concluding with the surprise announcement that their son, Rolf, had that day been promoted to the rank of Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force reserves.

In the evening, friends and members of the Nazareth Lutheran parish held open house in the Parish hall in their honor.
