Mr. and Mrs. C. W. Geary, who were married on October
6, 1924, in Hoard celebrated the 40th anniversary of that event on Saturday,

at 7:00 o’clock p.m. at the Viking Café, Stanley. Following this they came to
Curtiss where a reception awaited them at the village council rooms. They were
presented with gifts and a tree decorated with dollar bills. Refreshments were
served from a beautifully decorated table with a huge cake as centerpiece.

purchased the Schwandt General Store and moved to the village.
