MR. AND MRS. TOM HAAS MARRIED 50 YEARS

The 50th Wedding Anniversary of Mr. and Mrs. Tom Haas was celebrated on Sunday, October 25th, at the home of Mrs. John Marking. Eighteen relatives gathered coming from La Crosse, Ladysmith, Menomonie, and Prairie du Chien for the occasion. Mrs. Haas makes her home at the Havenet Nursing Home and Tom enjoys visits at the homes of his sons. This occasion was also a farewell party for Tom who left on Sunday for La Crosse, visiting at the home of his son, Charles. From there he will go to Kansas City to visit his son, Bud , and upon leaving there to Florida for the winter. Out of town guests on Sunday were cousins of the Haas’s from Menomonie, Nina and Orfa Vaughn and Mr. and Mrs. C. Vaughn and son, Mr. and Mrs. Rueben Powers of Prairie du Chein and mr. and Mrs. Charles Haas of La Crosse.
