Foelske, Mr./Mrs. Albert (Golden

Mr. and Mrs. Albert Foelske
celebrated their golden wedding anniversary on October 9 with the immediate
family at a six o’clock dinner at the Star Lodge Coffee Shop.
Albert Foelske and Lena Luther
were married on October 13, 1915 at Trinity Lutheran Church, Loyal.
The Rev. E. Kemena officiated and the attendants were Otto Luther and
Mrs. Hannah Johnson, Marshfield, the former Hannah Reese of Loyal.
After their marriage they farmed
in Beaver Township until the year of 1945, when they moved to the city of Loyal.
Mr. Foelske then was employed as a janitor at the Loyal High School until
1959 when he retired.
The couple has two daughters,
Mrs. Meryln (Alleda) Lindner, Spencer and Mrs. Lester (Velda) Wittnig, Jewel.
Grandchildren include Darrell Lindner, Peoria, Illinois; Arlan Lindner,
Concordia Senior College, Fort Wayne, Indiana, Vernon Wittig, Northwestern
College, Watertown and Mrs. Bill (Geraldine Wittnig) Affeld, Juneau and five
great-grandchildren.
Mr. and Mrs. Foelske are members
of Trinity Lutheran Church. Both
enjoy fair health.
